Unable to perform update error: error 0x80073712

Hi everyone, I keep having problems while trying to install update KB3140768  (and the previous one). I guess this happened because my laptop turned off while installing the update. Anyway, I tried with the SFC commands, DSIM, windows update troubleshoter (that "resolves" the problem), clean boot and I restored windows 10 2 times already, but I couldn't solve the problem.

What else can I do?

Original Title:error 0x80073712 still present after restoration of w10

Hi,

Thank you for the update.

To assist you better, I would like to know the current status of the issue, did you try manual reset Windows update components?

If the issue still persists, I suggest you to place the computer in a clean boot state and check if you are able to perform update.

A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista. You may also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.
