Older version of windows 10 1709 keep installing and failed version

hi,

I got an old update where it keep failing to install windows 10 1709 (KB4041994) 

Currently im running on version  windows 10 1709  (KB4074588)

how do I stop it from reinstalling?

I have read those forum

I also tried using troubleshooter, but this issue keep happening.

I have search for this similar issue where the windows trying to install older version of update.

but cant find anything same

Thanks for the quick reply. We can download the Windows 10 update directly to resolve the issue. Here's how to do it:

1. Please go to the Update historypage

2. Find the most recent update KB for the version of Windows 10 you have – it’s usually at the top of the list – and either write the KB number down or copy it.

3. Go to the Microsoft Updatesite and search for the KB number.

4. Select the link for the download, and then choose Download. Select Save if you are prompted.

5. When the download completes, select Open to start the update.

I'm very sorry, it seems that I didn't convey my problem correctly

 I already has the latest version of windows 10 (I have checked it).

but It seems that an older version of update want to install itself and keep failing.

I have tried troubleshooting , manually update windows as u mention and almost everything I found in the web.

but this older update keep popping trying to install and failed. If this something that need no worries just clarify to me. it has been several windows 10 update since then but nothing changed. Kindly help me with this problem.

In order to resolve the issue, you have to download the update manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog. Kindly follow these steps:

1. Please go to the Microsoft Update Catalog site.

2. Search for the KB update, KB4041994, in the Search box

4. Kindly select the link for the download, and then choose Download. Select Save when you are prompted.

5. When the download completes, select Open to start the update.
