After updating with KB4056890, my Asus suite 3 will not launch.

So using system restore, it's back to working fine.

The trouble is this same update wants to reinstall itself. Is their a way of preventing this happening.

Usually, this issue occurs due to a hardware compatibility (pertaining to computer BIOS) when a Windows Update is installed. It is also normal that the system would ask you to install the same update after doing a system restore. This update can only be temporarily stopped. This means that in some time the system would still ask you installing the same update.

To have your issue resolved, the best thing to do is updating your system BIOS so it would be compatible with the update in question and you can have this done with the help of the computer manufacturer's support. We highly suggest getting in touch with them. They're the best people to talk to in navigating the system BIOS.

Should you have any other concerns, feel free to post back on this forum.
