KB3194496 problem: Unable to shutdown or reboot

After Windows installed update KB3194496 I'm unable to shutdown or reboot my Asus G55V. Shutdown procedure goes as expected. Screen powers off but led indicators (power, hdd, wifi) as well as fans are still on. That goes on for ever. I waited overnight and the machine was stuck there. I had to power off manually by pressing power button. Now I have tried like ten times power on and power off and always the same result. On next start up Windows does not give any message about shut down failure though. Anyone else having same problems?

This suddenly got fixed by itself. Today I noticed when turning off the computer that it actually powered off like it should. Now tested several times and working. No updates installed here between the original post and this.
