I have tried it 4 times and receive the same message "Failed to install" It appears to  have reached the 95% level before stopping. I have checked numerous Microsoft windows trying to find a solution and this is the first site that has responded. I have no idea where to start the  troubleshooting. The site that says it failed to install did not give any direction on how to get it to work, except possibly downloading a standalone program. Any help would be appreciated.

My computer automatically tried to install the update again this morning when I turned on my computer and it failed. I clicked on try again and it failed again. I shut down my computer and restarted and it failed again. When I got home from work this evening and turned on my computer, it tried again and failed. I haven't tried to install it again because at this point it seems useless. All of the other updates installed successfully except this particular one so I don't know what file could be corrupted and I don't know how to troubleshoot it. Is this an important update? If it's not, then I am just going to let it go.
