Windows Updates address other bugs and issues in Windows. Even though they are not responsible for security vulnerabilities, they might impact the stability of your operating system, so it is always recommended to keep your PC up-to-date. We do not recommend that you disable automatic Windows Update in Windows 10. If your computer is fine with downloads in the background and doesn’t affect your work, it is not advisable to do it. However, if you are experiencing poor PC performance due to updates downloading and installing in the background, there are ways on how you can turn off Windows Update depending on the Windows edition you're running. May we know the edition of Windows you're on? Is it the Home or Pro edition?

I have the same question. I understand how important these notifications are, but we are in a position where we can't have them pop up. So would it be possible to disable these types of notifications? We are currently using Microsoft Windows 10 Pro. Thanks.
