We would suggest that you run Windows Update troubleshooter. A clean boot would also help us to resolve this, so after restarting the computer try to do a clean boot. Here’s how to.
From Start, search formsconfig.
SelectSystem Configurationfrom the search results.
On theServicestab of theSystem Configurationdialog box, tap or click to select theHide
all Microsoft servicescheck box, and then tap or clickDisable all.
On theStartuptab of theSystem Configurationdialog box, tap or clickOpen
Task Manager.
On theStartuptab in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then clickDisable.
Close Task Manager
On the Startup tab of the System Configuration dialog box, tap or click OK, and then restart the computer.
Once clean boot is done, you can now try to update Windows 10. Let us see how will turn out.
Regards.
