Hi Kim,

Thank you for posting in Community, we understand your concern and we will try our best to help you resolve the issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

What steps have you performed to resolve the issue?

I would suggest that you download and create Windows Media Creation Tool provided form the link below

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/media-creation-tool-install

Once the tool is created, access Windows Recovery Environment and perform Startup Repair. To do so follow the steps below

  1. Start your computer from the installation media. Insert the disk or USB stick and restart your computer. If you see a message asking you to “Press any key to boot from DVD,” do so. If you don’t see the message, you might need to change the boot order in your computer's BIOS settings so that it first starts from the disk or USB. When you see the 'Install Windows' page, tap or click 'Repair your computer' link to start the Windows Recovery Environment.

  2. In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, click 'Troubleshoot'.

  3. Click, Advanced Options and then click on 'Startup Repair'.

  4. After this complete the repair and see if you are able to boot in to your computer.

Hope this information helps.

If you try the repair from the boot disc / flash drive and it fails , the next thing is to do a clean install.

When you get to the part where it asks you to select where to install Windows 10 format all the partitons then try to delete them. after select the drive / disc then continue.

The above is what i had to do , Windows 10 could not repair or install with the same error as yours until i got rid of all the data from the partitions.

Good luck

Hi,

You need to do ALL of the below until the system either properly boots OR you have exhausted ALL of the methods.

You will need a Windows 10 boot disk if you don't have one.

Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool - create media then
boot with it.

OR use this method :

If your system came with Windows 10 the System Maker can supply the disk for a small
cost since you already own Windows.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boot with a Installation or Repair disc or USB drive - issue these from the Command
Prompt and hit ENTER after each.

C:

bootrec /fixmbr

bootrec /fixboot

bootrec /scanos

bootrec /rebuildbcd

After the above you may need to run Automatic Repair (even 2 or 3 times) - Option 5
here and run StartUp Repair to see if it helps.

Using EasyBCD often works when other methods do not. <-- if Bootrec did not help use this.
