Windows feedback

After udating from W8.1 to W10 throught Windows update as to get a vaalid key, I made a clean install.

All works normally but :

As I was an Insider for monthes I re-register to the program and after 3 weeks Windows update does not detect  insider builds (I Had thm on an other intsallation on a PC which I kept after update

I dont see any more Windows feedback app in the application lsit (have all detailled on by one.*

Any help please ?

Specially by Microsoft who surelly know the trick.

NB I tried all what is said on the net to try to clean Windows update etc...

To open the feedback app follow the steps below:

  1. Open Start menu.
  2. Type 'Feedback' and hit enter.
  3. Follow the prompts and send the feedback.

If you are facing issues with Windows Updates, run the Windows Update troubleshooter:

  1. Open Start Menu.

  2. Type “Troubleshooting” and hit Enter.

  3. On the left pane, click on view all.

  4. Click on Windows Updates and follow the prompts.

I tried all you explain in the response and :

-I still don't have the feed back application

-I don't have the preview buids update

-am surprised to be the only one "in the worlld" having a clean install and trying to receive

preview builds

I apologize for the delayed response. I will surely help you with this issue.

Before proceeding, please check if the same issue occur when logged in through a different user account.

Please perform the below steps and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

Method 1:

This issue may happen due to system file corruption. I suggest you to run System file checker. System File checker (SFC) scan is done to check if there are any corrupted system files that could be causing this issue. Kindly follow the below given steps:

  • Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
  • In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
  • Restart the computer.

If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I suggest you to try the following steps: 

  • Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
  • In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:

                DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

                DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

  • Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.

Method 2:

If issue persist, Kindly follow the below given steps and check if it helps:

Run these commands:

  • Press Windows key and type Powershell in search, right click on it and Open as administrator.
  • Type the following command in Powershell and hit enter:

 Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
