Hi, same issue, odd thing is the browser does not appear to crash, but if you open Event Viewer there will be lots of errors showing Edge has crashed. This started after this latest update.

No. I have not received any error message. The crashes where observed in the Reliability Monitor.

After the update, Edge crashed at start up. And then again after attempts to open the browser. This mornings crash was after attempted opening of Edge.

I have attached the Reliability Monitors breakdown of the Edge crashes.

I have very similar Edge crashes listed in Reliability Monitor. It all started after cumulative patch KB4038788 was applied this morning, Sept 13 2017.

There's a program called Trusteer Rapport that has conflict with Edge. Many Community members had this application uninstalled and fixed the issue. Please check if your computer has Trusteer Rapport, uninstall it and see if it helps.

Update us after checking for the program.

I don't have Trusteer Rapport installed and yet I have the Edge problems mentioned since the KB4038788 update. MS definitely messed up the browser in this update.

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately I do not have the Trusteer Rapport program installed. The problem persists.

Same issue here.  after updating KB4038788, Edge freezes almost immediately without warning.  It is now totally unusable.

Same issue here on our testing group of computers in our office.  Web pages can take up to 20 seconds to load.  Lots of random slowdowns and recovers.
