How can that be.
Firrstly it not just downloading is it? I mean it is also installing but the it's microsoft so all the message are sh*t.
Anyhow I just noticed windows module installer worker is running, so it is doing something now
however it was running before and then stopped and it looked like nothing much was happening,
hence I came here.
I am thinking perhaps ie may have to repair my system before it can insall new stuff
as the windows operating system tend to go bad quicker than something that goes bad
quickly ie...
Anyhow... Whilst I was trying to think os something that goes bad quickly the update finished!!!
It was on 95% for well over 2 hours. The up date must have taken 6 hours or more I estimate.
Now all that remains to be see if the machine still works when I reboot.
Anyhwo this mighht help some with a similar slow update?
UPDATE of and how it says updates are available
Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4015217).
It is on 70% of that.
It has earlier given me the option of installing the initial update now or later I chose later.
so a bit odd still on 70% and will be there for some years to come no doubt.
