KB3081424 download continually fails

My problem is that it the download continually fails as indicated below - the message reads:

"There were problems installing some updated, but we'll try again later.  If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information this may help:

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081424) - Error 0x80004005"

I tried searching the web via Google & Bing for a downloadable file separate from Windows Update since it does not work as it should, but have not been able to locate one.  Anyone have any ideas?  I have retried numerous times since last night & get the same result.   Thanks in advance

Thank you for your reply.   I believe I found the answer here...

I searched for this particular error message because my system would not install the update for my printer & gave me this error.

I walked my way through these instructions, shut down completely, then restarted my system & tried to download the update.  Not only did it download but it also successfully installed (as far as I can tell).  The error for my printer still remains, though but I am not concerned with it since I can use my printer without any problems, but the Cumulative update for Windows 10 was successful.

This issue is widespread, and I'd like to know if Microsoft is doing anything to remedy the problem.

The story is largely the same for most people- the update will install to around 50%, then it will tell you "Update could not be installed, undoing changes..." There is also no way to see what the problem is without any error code. It's been about 4-5 days now. Other updates like drivers work fine.

Mine is not stuck in a perpetual "reboot loop" like others, although it does reboot 4-5 times upon failure with the same "unable to install" showing up.

Here are some articles explaining the problem.
