Hi,
I'm not Phyllis and don't know her, but I'm having a very similar problem.
I ran the update troubleshooter and it found no problems.
Up until mid August, Jewel Quest 2 (JQ2) was working fine in Windows 10, on my Laptop and on my Desktop.
In early September JQ2 stopped working giving the following error in the Application Log
"
Faulting application name: JewelQuest2.exe, version: 2.0.4.2, time stamp: 0x46b12fab
Faulting module name: SDL.dll, version: 1.2.7.0, time stamp: 0x403157cf

It appears that something is something is making that particular version of SDL.dll fail when started.
The only other program using that or any other version of SDL.dll (Oracle Virtual box using the version created 27/07/2017 @ 01:32 PM 316,952 bytes) is working fine.
Thanks
Richard
