If you mean Desktop Shortcuts, right click an empty area of desktop to choose View then change icon size.
You can also adjust the size of everything on the screen with zoom by holding the Ctrl key and zooming the mouse wheel or using the - or + key.
Other supportive methods for resizing are at Settings>System>Display where you can change Screen Resolution. Highest is always best for sharper pictures, but can also mean smaller icons and other things so you can choose Scaling and try a set or Custom Size for changing object sizes. This takes some experimenting.
