Microsoft error- this service isn't available try again later

Hi , 

every time I log into my laptop I am getting prompted to log into my Microsoft account to because there is some information missing . 

When I actually try to log in I get an error message saying " Ooops - something went wrong . This service isn't available , please try again later ." 

When I have bought the laptop I've set it up with my existing Microsoft account , then later I was asked to merge it with my email address and I did and since then I keep getting this issue . 

I hope you can help me  fix this issue . 

Is very frustrating for me , don't know what to do to fix it .

Hi Danral. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 8 year Windows MVP, here to help you.

You can go to Settings > Accounts > Your Info, click the link below the account name to SIgn in With a Local Account. This will remove the Microsoft account until you sort it out and are ready to add it back.

You can still access it via this address to update and try to fix: https://login.live.com/

You said you merged your MS account with an email address? Was this adding another email address to the account, then designating it as the Default address as shown here?
