I've got hacked by a ransomware

Today I got hacked by ransomware.
I can log in and and i have most of the data not encrypted. I don't need the encrypted data.
I just want to remove this virus from my pc
Q1 Is there anyway to do it without formatting my hard desk ?

When I try to open Kaspersky to run a scan a pop up message says "Your system administrator has blocked this program. For more information, contact your system administrator.

Q2 How can I be open in again ?

Note: bec i have kaspersky as antivirus, windows defender is disabled and can't scan my pc.

Thank you in advance

Hi Muhammed

The best way to make sure you are not hit with a ransomware virus, is to make sure you are running Windows 10 version 1809, then check this setting in Defender:

Open Windows Defender Security Center

Go to Virus & threat protection - Virus & threat protection settings

Scroll down to Controlled folder access and make sure that is turned on

With regards to your files on the WD drive, are those files encrypted (have an extra file extension) or can you not access that drive at all?

Hi Muhammed

Honestly, if your system has been hit with a ransomware attack, the only safe thing to do to make sure that the underlying code is still not on your PC is to backup your files, and clean install Windows 10 and all your 3rd party applications

When that completes, run a full scan of any attached drives on your PC

I know this is a lot of bother, but believe me, it is the only safe thing to do . . ..
