Changing sign in options

Original title:Sign in optionshow to change the sign in account options from 2 options to just 1 when I start Windows 10

How do

I change the sign in account options from 2 options to just 1 when I start Windows 10

Hi,

To assist you better let us know what are the two sign in options you are referring to?

Do you refer to the different sign-in user account?

I would like to inform you that in windows 10 there are three sign in options they are using PIN, PASSWORD, and PICTURE PASSWORD.

If you have set a PASSWORD and 4-PIN to your device, then you will have two sign-in options. If you wish to remove either of them, let us know we will help you.

Thank you

This was not helpful.  When I start my computer and the welcome screen comes up, in the lower left hand corner it shows two options that can be used as a sign in.  I don't need two sign ins for one person, so I want to delete one of them.  How do I delete one of these options?

• Click on User accounts.
• Click on Manage other account.
• Enter the password for the administrator account if prompted.
• Click on the account which you want to delete (Microsoft admin account).
• Click on Delete the account.

I don't want or need more than 1 sign in.  I'm not going to create a PIN unless it will then let me delete 1 of the 2 sign in accounts, but then I'll want to get rid of the PIN.  I've got more log-ins and passwords than I can keep up with now.

1 sign-in has my first and last name only.  The second has my first and last name with my e-mail address on the row below my name,  which is also my Microsoft account sign in.  I want to get rid of the account with just my name.

Thanks,

Hi,

I understand that you are trying to delete the Local account.

Before performing the steps below make sure that you have administrative privileges in that Microsoft account.

• First Login through Microsoft account on the computer.
• Right click on Start Menu and select the Control Panel.
• Click on User accounts. Again click on User Accounts.
• Click on Manage another account.
• Select the User name (Local Account from the list) and click Delete the account.

Hope it helps.

Thank you.
