Bluetooth Security Tag Login HOW TO Remove it

I asked this before and They guy told me how to start windows in Safe Mode. Thanks for that. But if you can only run windows 10 in safe mode to remove that BLUETOOTH SECURITY TAG. Then what good is it.

How do I stop/remove Windows 10 from showing that Bluetooth Security Tag on my Login in Screen. Im the only user and when I turn on my PC I want it to boot in to windows. It did it fine the first few times I used it but now its there stoping me from booting in to the desk top unless I login.

Hi,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting. We appreciate your interest in Windows 10.

I understand the inconvenience that you are unable to login to your computer as Bluetooth Security Tag pops up. We will help to resolve this issue.

Your effort in resolving the issue is much appreciated.

Please perform some of the below troubleshooting steps and check:

I suggest you to reboot your computer to Safe mode:

  1. While it is booting press Shift +F8 keys for few times.

  2. You will be prompted with blue menu screen and select Troubleshoot.

  3. Select Advanced options, and Startup settings, and Restart.

  4. Now, Enable Safe mode and Enable safe mode with Networking.

Also, try either of these by pressing number 4 or 5 and see if you can login without Bluetooth errors.

If you can login, you can also try to connect a USB and copy your data while you are in safe mode.

While you are in safe mode,

  1. Right click on Start button on the desktop and select Control Panel.

  2. Click on Administrative Tools, in this windows double click on Services.

  3. Click on the Bluetooth services, and set Startup type for each Bluetooth service to DISABLED & apply.

  4. Reboot your pc and try to login normally.

  5. Right-click Start, Device Manager.

  6. Uninstall all Bluetooth drivers and hardware.

  7. Then click Action - scan for hardware changes and let windows reinstall Bluetooth.

I have the same HP and the same problem.  Maybe it's an HP issue with Windows 10?  How did you reinstall Windows 10?

OK, I messed around a bit.  Even on our HP's without bluetooth I found a couple of bluetooth services in the admin tools so I disabled them.  There was a software on my PC called CSR Harmony Wireless Software.   Don't even know why it was there, but I uninstalled it.  After I restarted the bluetooth security tag log on was gone!

Removing 'CSR Harmony Wireless Software Stack' solved the problem ! It comes with an Inatek Bluetooth USB dongle.

Why did this just show up within the last few days and why does MS have the right to install this crap on my PC without my consent?

Why do I have to spend hours researching it to remove this junk of MY pc?  MS you are communist.

Take this junk off my PC.

Worked for me as well.  I cannot understand why after 6 years, with no new install of devices or software it just showed up.  MS...shameful... No wonder so many are switching to Apple now.
