SMP disable reccomended by Microsoft- Is there a group policy for this?

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-security/wanna-cry-ransomware/5afdb045-8f36-4f55-a992-53398d21ed07

Gives 2 options to fix the WIN10 vulnerability, is there a GPO for large organizations?

If not is there a registry entry to accomplish the same thing?

Why disable it by Group Policy when just installing the appropriate Security Fix through Windows Updates will protect your systems?

Because we are migrating from WSUS to System Center these next 2 weeks. We have planned this during a break in our organization's schedule. We are an educational facility. a GPO would fix everyone today.
