Microsoft accounts Troubleshooter for windows 10

Hi all,

I was trying to get all my apps (store, mail, news, etc.) to work on Windows 10. I was asked to login to my Microsoft account.

Tried this method: Settings> Your account > Sign in with a Microsoft account instead > A separate tab opened and I got the message "try again or select cancel to set up your device later". I did not even get to the login page.

How do I solve this issue? I need to login to my Microsoft account.

PS: Read a similar post for Windows 8, which asked me to download "Microsoft Accounts Troubleshooter". I couldn't find one for Windows 10. It is not there in Windows Troubleshooter either. Please post a link if you find one.

PPS: I have installed all windows updates

You may also try repairing the store and check if you are able to rename.

1. Press WinKEY + X or put the mouse in the lower left corner

2. Open the Command Prompt (Run as Administrator)

3. Type in WSReset.exe and hit enter.

4. Type the following in a Command Window (CMD) to re-register the Store App:

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.XML

I have the same issue and when I did step 4 I got the same screen.

Same here, except step 3 opened a new window with the store showing. Had to go back to command prompt and kill the command via CTRL+C. Then enter the powershell command in step 4.
The K.I.S.S. method and prayer got me through many tough problems. A computer is a computer regardless of the name on the outside...

When I try to sign into outlook live I get a screen that says to sign out and back in. When I do the same screen comes up saying to sign out. Cannot get my e-mail.
