my Microsoft account has been hacked, since noticing this on Friday morning and trying to report this my account has been hacked again and the mail has been removed from my Microsoft mailbox... luckily I have a backup of it as bellow from gmail...

I suspect someone in Microsoft has hacked this account with some kind of keylogger as the passwords have been changed for my; router, microsoft account, pc login after installing windows 10 in the last few days.

has anyone else seen this message...

okay checked the forum... bunch of useful things if you don't know computers... I tried all of those things when I got hit on Friday morning...

the only thing I haven't done yet is a password change as the other Microsoft site says to do a windows defender update and remove the spyware/malware before changing the password... lol

windows defender does not pickup any spyware/malware/keylogger/screengrabber so will changing my password help if the hacker already has some way of detecting my windows password, my router password, and my Microsoft password... it just feels pointless... and no response from the outlook.com team who initialy blocked the ms account

I do not like your tone young wo/man...

Firstly what is wrong with using Microsoft defender?

Secondly I'm a very safe internet user I don't click on anything I don't know (mail/internet) and investigate all websites I visit and use tools to check their validity, security, trustworthiness and safety (which I'm happy to so MS has now adopted with windows 10)...

I use other products at work as you can imagine as Microsoft products do not protect ordinary users for the big bad internet

I would name the long lists of products I use but have been quite impressed with Microsoft's latest release and thought with all the new features enabled after much investigation, I thought it was quite safe... and now you are dissing me for using a Microsoft product on a Microsoft forum... that is not cool dude/t... I just hope your boss does not read your comments.

As far as safety is concerned you can think of me as double bagging it.

FYI  This is a peer to peer site staffed almost exclusively by volunteers who have little or no contact to Microsoft so I do not have a BOSS (except my wife)

Good luck
