Assure subscription

I apparently have an assure subscription that is about to expire.  I am trying to cancel this subscription but when I go to the location where I am supposedly able to cancel the subscription there is no option to do so.

I tried calling the answer desk but they were unable to help and transferred me to the techies but after an hour and 45 minutes I finally gave up, couldn't wait any longer - I have a life.  I tried again this morning but again was unable to get anything done, and now the techies aren't working and I need to call back later in the morning.

To say the least I am very disappointed with Microsoft. 

Anyone have any ideas how to cancel my assure subscription??

I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO KNOW HOW I CAN GET MY SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLED.  I TOO HAVE TRIED TO NO AVAIL.

Hi: 

      I just bought into the "Assure"  yesterday at the suggestion of a tech, but  have no idea of what it is.  I had a virus problem which they fixed, but for the money I spent how long is the subscription for; 6 months or a year and what do I get in return "that one fix from the other day"?

Although It seems that the others with this subscription did not get the info. above in an email, it does not much matter. Because outside of using the phone to call for tech support, which is no picnic and has varying results, I have had no success with accessing the account on line. Even though I created a Microsoft account.

 Also, I have recently been automatically charged for another years subscription. I do not recall being informed of this when I first purchased the Assure plan and I did not receive an email warning of the upcoming renewal.

I have tried the links and suggest ways of contact with no success.

This is unexceptable. I expect more from Microsoft.

Remove your card from your profile. I noticed that my payment information was saved to my profile. I intend to do the same, after reading all the comments that only serve to reinforce my opinion of this "support"

And for the record, if I cannot get this subscription cancelled, I intend to dispute the charges with my bank.

I have the same problem that you have... Assure is useless and we pay for it even when we dont want it!

At least they sent me a warning email 1 month before my renewal date... sorry for what happened to you regarding MS Assure (is a fraud, in my eyes)

Yes, indeed.  I use an Apple computers and received the same notice.  MS has taken $150+ from my account for a service and I am furious.  I do not recall subscribing to this service nor do I have any reason to do so.  Getting in touch with MS is a nightmare.  Outright theft, IMO.  I am poised between forgeting this bad experience and fighting the monster.
