How do I shut down Windows 10 from the login screen using the keyboard?

How do I shut down Windows 10 from the login screen using the keyboard? I have 2 screens and the primary screen is not currently connected. Windows thinks it's there, so I cannot use the shutdown button and NOTHING appears on the second screen except the mouse pointer when I move it there.

Hi Keith

Please try this:

Press Alt + F4, then release those key and press Enter . . .

Does that shut your PC down?

No, I tried that already. Pressing and holding the Power Button on my computer doesn't work either. (It's a desktop, BTW.)

Duh, my mistake. I was pressing the reset button (the one that was glowing), not the power button. That works, even though I prefer not to do a hard shutdown unless needed. (In this case, the computer is on from automatic startup in the morning. I wish I could tell it not to start up on Sundays.)

That didn't work. The number of presses appears to be related to the setup options for the login screen.

I turned on my primary monitor (was using it on another computer) to figure it out. Tab does nothing until the login is displayed which requires a mouse click on the main screen. Then I needed 5 Tabs + Enter, followed by 2 down arrows + Enter.

Thanks for helping me figure it out. I'll probably resort to the 5-sec power key since I know it's safe in this instance (no one logged in). Of course, I could have just used my Remote Desktop from the other computer too.
