Faulty hardware corrupted page error (Blue Screen Error)

I just upgraded my computer (ASUS TP500L) from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Out of nowhere, the Blue Screen error keeps happening, even though my computer wasn't under heavy load (I think). I haven't had this error, when it was Windows 8, but now that it's Windows 10, it happened once in every 2 or 3 days or so. What can I do to prevent the error from happening?

Don't expect that Microsoft will solve your problem at short time. They won't. If you need a stable system, the best solution is roll back to your previous OS (recover factory image, reinstall from scratch, etc. )

I did it (Dell Windows 7 Factory Images) and so far (almost 1 month) no BSOD.

If you brought a Machine with Windows 10 installed, that is another history.

Good Luck!

This happened to me too I have a Lenovo z50-75 (so it seems its not brand specific) was running Visual Studio, SQL and Chrome all at once (Worked perfectly on my win 8.1 setup before). This is my work computer and i cant afford to be running into this BSOD thing every other day.

Gabriel,

This was the first thing that i noticed after I got my first BSOD. windows 10 was not designed to play well with others. I observed that after I tried to use two browsers or programs as I previously did , I received the BSOD nearly every time I shut down or changed programs. I fixed it for my personal use by only using Chrome. The new Windows really sucks anyway(a 21st Century Vista---only worse!). I no longer use a computer for business so it was not too inconvenient. For anyone else, only run MS programs on Windows and use another platform such as Chrome only after you X out of Windows.

Mine just happened today 10/29/2015 and I have an Acer Model Aspire 5742Z. It happened once (so far) upon returning from hibernation. My laptop computer returned to normal after the reboot but what steps am I to take, if any, to prevent this from re-occurring?

I have found that it depends on how my laptop hibernates.

if I close the lid and wait for the laptop to got to sleep before attaching to the charger, chances are that the BSOD will not happen.

Every time I connect to the charger while the laptop is on, it will have the BSOD after like 5 minutes of work.

Hope this helps....

Aghhhhh it happened again!

I thought I was over it, as it had behaved for about a month.

Just got another Blue Screen of Death just now, out of nothing!

Grrrrr.   Lost a lot of work and at least half an hour waiting for the computer to reboot, install windows updates and recover lost files.  While sitting at a client and they wondering why I wasn't working.

I can't realistically go back to 8 (and hated that too, but at least it didn't do BSoDs).

Computer is new, from Feb, an ASUS TP500L.

All drivers updated, bland software.  I do use more than one browser, someone suggested that as a possible cause.
