Windows 10 explorer.exe memory error on shutdown

On shutdown of Windows 10, I sometimes get this error:

explorer.exe – Application Error

The instruction at 0x00007FF79F83FE4E referenced memory at 0x0000000000000038. The memory could not be read.

I have used sysinternals autoruns and removed one explorer.exe plug-in after another, first the third-party plug-ins, and then the Microsoft plug-ins, and there is nothing left, but I'm still getting the error.

Any tips on where to search would be welcome.
