The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b (0x00000000c0000005, 0xfffff8051b91db18, 0xfffff9009f31ebf0, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 6b35c92a-e8c7-486b-8175-92828a94ca1a.

I have the Memory.dmp file, any ideas what I do with it or how to fix this issue?  Happened about 2-3 times in last month or so.

Thanks

Hi Ranjster

Please upload the smaller minidump files, rather than that memory dump file . ..

Open Windows File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump

Zip up the contents of that folder

If you have problems zipping those files, copy them out onto your Desktop and zip them from there

Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)

Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

Hi Ranjster

The minidump file indicates asmtxhci.sys which is your ASMedia USB 3.0 controller driver as the cause of your System crashes

Go to the support page for your device on that manufacturers website, then download and install the driver for that device they recommend, it may be an older driver, but it will be compatible with your system . . .

Hi Dave, Thanks for looking into this.  We have the Dell Thunderbolt docking station that uses these drivers so I'll download and update the drivers.

Thanks again

Hi, I installed the Dell Thunderbolt docking station drivers but I just got another blue screen. I have uploaded the mini dump file to the same folder:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/6jbgyl027n8uust/AADrJI1E1YlSJAJ--xo3HdTua?dl=0

Can you take a look at this and see what caused it?
