Hi,
I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor and a 2-Year Windows Insider MVP here to help.

We need log files(called dump files) that tell us what lead to crash.
Please share them with us for a better analysis of the problem. Instructions can be found here:

Please let us know if you need any assistance about posting dump files.

Hi Nick

No 3rd party driver was named. Does this happen only while playing GTA5?

The next step,
Let us try finding any misbehaving driver
Enable Driver Verifier:

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...
(Must create a Restore point before)

Upload the newer dumps when you get Driver_Verifier_detected_voilation.

Please note that the system might crash before you reach the desktop-if it does please let us know so that we can guide you to disable Verifier.
Technical Information:

PROCESS_NAME: GTA5.exe

ok here is the memory file from the verifier test. if im reading this right its due to the 3dxkmj.sys driver? its for a 3d connection 6 axis mouse.

ok i just deleted the 3d connection program with the 3dxkmj driver, i ran the verifier again and this time its saying it due to bcmwl63a.sys which is part of my PCIe wifi card

every time ive tried this in verifier mode it blue screen before it gets to the password login. so ive had to safemode turn off verifier each time.

here is that dmp

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AownqdAPfMHCgk6k2eORoWi1xFvX?e=727ahz

in windows system32 driver that bcmwl63a.sys says it was last modified in 2014, before this pc was built. could this be from corruption?

Hi Nick,

The first driver to crash with verifier is usually the root cause. If I run verifier even on my PC which doesn't crash, the verifier would even make it to crash as well.

Please uninstall the program related to 3dxkmj.sys and wait for the next BSOD to appear, with verifier disabled.

today it crashed while playing gta after about 20 mins, still with that 3dx driver uninstalled. it didnt give me a full crash dump this time. also im not sure if its relevant but when it blue screens it only covers the top 2/3 of the screen in blue and never says anything. here is the mini dump. also when i rebuilt this pc the only part i didnt replace was the power supply, it 7 years old at this point, could this be causing this?

Thanks Nick.

The dump file pointed Memory corruption.
Looks like a Memory test is required.

I suggest you to Run memory test for at least 8 passes, preferably Overnight.

When the test completes post back the Image(You can use your phone's camera).
