How to fix Run time error: atibtmon.exe

when i turn on my laptop and log onto my windows 10 I get a run time error box saying 

Microsoft Visual C ++ Run Time Library

RUN TIME ERROR

program:C:\WINDOWS\system32\atibtmon.exe

How do I fix this problem?

Method 1: Check if the issue resolves in Safe Mode with Networking.

Method 2 : Put the computer into clean boot state.

A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows. You may also troubleshoot or determine what conflict is causing the problem by performing a clean boot.

To disable all non-Microsoft services consult the article called Clean Boot.

Right I tried both and option 2 (clean boot) seemed to work so I got back on this site to say it was helpful then was asked to sign in to leave a comment:- after that the blasted  thing came up again, and again, and has happened 4 time since I started typing this :-(
