Fitbit Connect has stopped

I have gone to Fitbit Connect and saw it has stopped working.  I tried to start is and I get an error message it has timed out.  I have also tried to uninstall it and it goes to 21 seconds remaining.  I really don't know what else I should do.  Help!

Try manually removing and re-adding the application.
To do this go to search and type Powershell.
Right click on it and select to Run as Administrator
Type the following all on one line.

Get-appxpackage -allusers *fitbit* | Remove-AppxPackage

Reboot your machine and log back in.
Verify fitbit is gone by searching for it.

Then reinstall it and see if that fixes it.

I find that the Fitbit Connect desktop app doesn't work all that well, but the Fitbit app from the Windows Store is very reliable.
