Hi,

Thank you for the update.

As you mentioned that Microsoft edge is not working, we would ask you to reset edge and check if the issue persists.

Please know that resetting the Microsoft edge will remove your bookmarks and History. Follow the instruction provided below and check.

a. Navigate to the location:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe

b. Delete everything in this folder.

c. Type Windows Powershell in search box.

d. Right click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.

e. Copy and paste the following command.

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" –Verbose}

Disclaimer:

I followed all the steps here but my problem has not been resolved.

When I try to run a new program (as Administrator) I get error

"A required privilege is not held by the client "

I'm using an ASUS laptop with Windows 10

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

thank you Wil501, for your simple fix. I used 'Trust Level', 'Trusted Application' to get my fickle program to load. Much easier than the other "fixes"
