Home Screen Has NO icons and looks weird

PLEASE HELP

My home screen looks like this                                         

    : there are no icons showing and it is dim. When I was in a game i pressed a bunch of random buttons then my game froze, then i restarted my computer and got greeted to this.

There was no recent changes to my computer for the last 5 days, and the system recovery is "unavalible because your PC waas upgraded more than 10 days ago"

I already tried that long ago
