At some point in the past week, I've lost some functionality in Windows Terminal that I use all the time. Previously, when I right-clicked on the shortcut to Windows Terminal, it listed the standard options (Unpin/Resize/More/Uninstall), but below that would be a section marked "tasks" that listed the various profiles that I had configured (in my case, Command Prompt, Debian (WSL), and PowerShell). I use these all the time, and it is really frustrating to have them missing! I have a backup from before the options vanished, so I make a quick comparison image below. What broke, and how can I fix

Good evening. I had been using X on my desktop and I could access the settings through X directly or Windows 10 Home 'Get notifications from these senders menu.' I had downloaded the X App from the Microsoft store but had seen it was connected via Edge and could be opened in Edge. About a day ago none of my X notifications were coming across my desktop. I went to the 'Get notifications' and it was missing from the list but still accessible through the Start Menu. I initially went to the Edge Browser and went to X.com. Push notifications were off and when I tried to reset them it said it

Windows 10 PCThis used to work just fine. All of sudden it stopped working. I've gone into setting and did all the reset etc but nothing seems to fix it. Turn on using screen print does not work eitherI can launch Snipping Tool and then click New.How could I fix it?Thanks

I'm currently using windows 10. I tried doing the recovery and going to UEFI settings, but in my situation there's no UEFI option in mine so I don't know how I'll be able to do it. can anyone please help

Hi guyz , Need help regarding one thing. We are trying to Control Windows Hello Pin configs using MDM(Not using Intune). I used this config sent CSP command it got success , I was able to see corresponding reg keys being updated on the device documented here . But still device is not able to pick up the configs. As you can see in ss min length specified is 13 but while changing pin it shows min length as 6. I have confirmed tenant id is also correct attaching ss for evidence.Checked GPO device and user configs non are being conflicting attaching ss for that as well.De

I saw another post with the same issue as me, but couldn't find the solution. I am assuming its from factory resetting my PC but I cannot change the time zone on my laptop. It's greyed out and doesn't allow me to click it. I am the only one who has ever logged into or used this laptop. However, I noticed that when I go into settings and click on the "your info" page, underneath of my email it literally says "administrator", so i still don't understand why I can't change the time zone then...-kj

When removing a Power Options Preference settings, PCs hang on 'Applying software installation' policy. In event viewer, there are errors Completed Security Extension Processing in 3031 milliseconds with error code 1252.This relates to security processing not being completed or the policy trying to apply settings, but the GPO is no longer there.I have researched online, and forums have suggested to clear the Group Policy History files, but there aren't any, and I am at a bit of a loss.Has anyone experienced this issue before?Any suggestions or advice would be high

Every time I go to msn.com, the "new" version is displayed on the screen. I go to the settings that I want the "classic" version to be displayed as my default. How do I get it to go to "classic" as the default instead of the "new" msn?

For some reason, I've been getting this transparent box showing up behind/around the videos on browser videos (YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, etc). The blue box will slide off the video if I scroll down before disappearing when I scroll down more. I've tried it in Incognito mode without any extensions, I've I've tried it on a clean install of Chrome with no extensions installed, and it even shows up when I try it on Edge, so it seems likely to be some kind Windows function rather than some kind of extension shenanigans. What is (DWORD32)EventProcessorEnabled registry key about? Could someone please enlighten me? I believe there is no any available official documentation about this key.It exists by default on my system (Windows 10 22H2) and its default value is 0x00000001. I have set it to 0x00000000 to see any difference and it FEELS (no benchmark, just general overall feel) like it has kinda lowered my system latency (maybe it's just placebo so I don't really know).

As the title states I tried to use an image to 3d LLM model test and when I got the file I then tried opening it in blender locally. Afterwards blender crashed immediately and now my start menu appears pixelated (see photo). Blender still works if I open it and the start menu functionality works as well... its just the text that seems messed up. I tried playing with display and resolution settings but with no results. If anyone can help me fix this that would be great! Worst comes to worst I will probably just hard reset the pc and clear everything off it I can.

Using USB Jeeco V20U headset. Audio works fine but microphone doesn't. Tried all Microsoft troubleshooters with no success. I know microphone is good because worked on other computers, so problem has to be in Windows 10 Settings.HELP!
