windows 10 mail and my ntlworld account

I have just got a new pc with Windows 10.

When starting Windows 10 for the first time it asked for my email address

So I entered my main email address which is on

It now seems to have created a Microsoft account with my ntlworld email address as the name for the account

All fine until I try to sync the mail app with ntlworld

I send mail from the app it arrives in other email folders as from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

but when they reply it does not come back to my mail app, it goes to the ntlworld mailbox.

I've tried to manually add the ntlworld account but this does not work

I can only assume it is getting confused with the Microsoft account name

I tried to delete the Microsoft account but this will take 2 months apprently
