I have the same problem with Outlook 2010. Hyperlilnks do not work in email. Also using Edge for Browser. Links on a webpage work only part of the time. A few weeks ago when my computer was new all worked just fine. I'm think Windows updates may be causing the problem. I am using Windows 10 on 6 week old new computer. HELP.
I am using Outlook 10 and Windows 10. I changed my email address and I can send and receive emails. However, I cannot open any hyperlinks in the email.

Did you try the registry fix at http://www.outlook-tips.net/tips/outlook-on-windows-10-hyperlinks-dont-work/
Download and double-click and accept. This solved it for me when I had this problem back in 2015 after upgrading to Win 10.

Hi Rob (and everyone else with this stupid problem)
Running Windows 10 Fall Creators edition, Office 2010 myself and your solution ROCKS!
All other (supposedly) 'fixes' out there aren't worth 'the (virtual) paper they're written on'
This solution:
- Simple
- Fast
- No messing with exporting/importing (hopefully working) regsettings from a similar system you very likely don't have :-(
- No uninstalling/reinstalling other browsers like Chrome/Firefox, etc.
- No need to limp back to Edge
- etc
You're the man of sharing this.
Thanks.
Peter

I cannot open hyperlinks from the body of my emails.
I use Outlook 2007 on Windows 10.
The error message says:
"The operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator".
My system is up to date.
Available fixes did not fix this problem.
It needs a fix from Windows 10.

This worked for me too after everything else failed.
For Windows 10 users, to install Internet Explorer IE 11, it must be installed from Start --> Control Panel --> Programs and Features --> Turn Windows features On or Off, then select Internet Explorer 11 and click OK. Make sure you choose IE 11 as your default browser (you can change this later) at Start Button --> Settings --> Apps --> Default Apps.
Then restart the computer and your Outlook links should now be working (should open in IE 11). You can now uninstall any browsers you no longer need (but make sure they are not set to default browser first!!!), and choose the one you want to be your default. I left IE 11 installed but not default and all working fine so far, fingers crossed.
I hope this helps a few people, might not fix everyone's troubles, but it worked for me.
