Win 10- Screenshot shortcut stopped working

After upgrading to Windows 10 the screenshot shortcut (Windows key + Prt Scr) stopped working.

I've tried to look for a setting but I haven't found anything related.

When attempting to use the onscreen keyboard for the shortcut, nothing happens; no screenshots are saved in the screenshots folder and there is no screen flash. I do not have any other keyboards.

In the course of a chat conversation via the Windows10 Support app, I figured out that is you press Shift-WindowsKey-S, then the snipping tool jumps into action allowing you to instantly take a screen shot.  Wish that was better documented!

In my case was different. The app suddenly stopped working and says the app was unavailable. It says the app was going to crash (literally) its like the app had been damaged permanently. I thought about Uninstall but it doesn't allow me. I do really need it, help, please
