[Win 10 PRO] Fresh install - Adobe creative cloud cannot acces Adobe servers

First things first. I used to have a Win 10 home edition where I use Adobe PS and Lightroom with the creative cloud app. All of a sudden, perhaps after the 2004 update, the creative cloud desktop app pops a message that says Cannot reach adobe servers.

OK, I got in touch with Adobe support, I had a remote session with one of their guys, he tried everything: firewall, user settings, windows defender, reinstalling adobe creative cloud, we spent around 45 minutes in that session. The only conclusion was to change to a new admin user profile. That was the only thing that worked.

So, I thought to upgrade to Win 10 pro. Fresh install of the SO, and I have the same issuse, after I install the app.

I already read every helppage regarding this issue on the adobe site, and they claimed it is a Windows issue. Can anybody shed some light in this matter?

Same issue. I believe it has something to do with Windows defender update of 6/7/2020.

Various websites and Adobe Creative Cloud App is blocked instantly.

I just got mine back working. It seems that somehow, the update changed my DC (?) settings for my Ethernet connection. I opened the device manager and troubleshooted the Ethernet Card and Windows found the problem and corrected it. After restarting, seems to be working again. Hope this helps

No avail. The same. Every-absolutely-thing else is working with the internet connection, except the marvelous creative cloud app. And they have no standalone installers, you have to install everything through the freakin' app.

I migrated my system between old and new PCs last weekend using laplink. Adobe Creative Cloud now won't update and keeps reporting error 191.

Have spent 2 hours with Adobe support this week to no avail, they say its something to with the Windows user profile not having suitable administration rights.

Tried setting up an extra user with full admin rights but still get the same error code. Tried cleaning CC off and doing a fresh install to no avail. Tried looking into AzureAD as a way to install CC as I have an Office 365 subscription but AD instructions way too complicated for me!

If the problem is with Defender can we have a patch or a workaround please!

I have had this exact same issue since (roughly) June. Is Adobe doing anything to work on its compatibility with Windows 10 and/or vice-versa?

I cannot install updates now.
