"System settings changed" prompt

Hello,

Today, I booted up my laptop to start editing a Word-document. I left my laptop for dinner and then I see a prompt along the lines of:

System settings changed

Your hardware settings have changed. Please reboot your computer for these changes to take effect.

What is this? What must I do? Should I worry? I'm doing a quick scan with Windows Defender right now.

Thanks in advance
