Starting watchdog initiation on black screen

 On Monday January 18th I was running a system "undo" restore process because the original system restore that I had run  earlier did not complete successfully.  I am running on a computer that had windows 10 already installed on it.

After running for what seemed to be an eternity - the undoing of the system restore that did not complete successfully-  the following messages appeared on a black screen (see below). There was no blue screen and no error code.

- starting watch dog initialization
- loading configuration( root kernel, set up)
- pre initialization events
- creating watch dog dynamic key list
- sub systems initialization

- finished

Phase 1:
- Initialize Components
- starting reactor
- starting components
- starting internal subsystems
- starting command channels
-  Srm start actions
- starting external subsystems

- finished

After reading a Microsoft forum which seemed similar to my problem and most likely caused by incompatible drivers or possibly a virus.... a suggested solution by 'Anannya Podder" was listed.

However everytime I reboot my computer I get the same result  the series of  disturbing messages on the black screen and I can never get to windows 10 even hitting f8 to go in safe mode.

Please help me.

After much research I think I have found the answer to everyone's problem and how to fix it. This issue is something with the new Windows 10 Anniversary Update and AVG (I have had the same problem with AVG Cloudcare and AVG Free). The best way to go is remove AVG and use something else. 

Booting to Safe Mode

You will have to get your computer to boot to the preboot menu for Windows 10. To do this I had to physically turn the computer off 3 times when it showed the windows 10 logo. The third time it should say something like "Preparing to Run Automatic Repair". Once it is done with trying to repair it will fail and give you the option to restart or advanced repair. Click advanced repair then troubleshoot then advanced options then startup settings. It should give you the option to reboot the computer. Go ahead and reboot and let it get to the boot menu screen (times like this I miss the old f8 on boot that they had). Once the menu comes up select Safe Mode with Networking.

Remove AVG

Once it boots into safe mode run the AVG Remover (I tried to run the uninstaller but it just gave me an error the remover seemed to work so just use that). This will uninstall AVG from the computer. Seeing as they haven't figured out how to fix this since the update this is the ONLY way I can confirm that it works and will stay working.

Install Another Antivirus Software

I actually love AVG and hate that its not working but there are other alternatives out there. Avast Free is a decent one. I would tell you to turn on Windows Defender but you are better with no antivirus then to try and depend on Microsoft to protect you. Bitdefender Free is also another decent one.
