Profile Pic not updating!

My concern is that MS Account profile picture is not showing in Microsoft Community(answers.microsoft.com) but it does show in microsoft.com

Also Profile Pic is like ghost beside the actual photo

and last signing in MS Office 2019 apps does not show Profile Pic

What to do to correct these problems??

How much time it take to show changes in profile pic update in windows 10??

Hello Bhim,

I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor.

Microsoft Account and Community uses different profile pictures. You can update your profile picture on Community by logging in to https://answers.microsoft.com/ click on the display picture on the upper-right. then select My Profile.

On your profile page, click Edit profile then Change picture. Upload your desired profile picture for community.

As for the Profile pic on various Microsoft app (such as MS Office, Windows... etc), there's really no specific time frame wherein it gets updated. Sometimes, the changes reflects to quick & sometimes it takes really quite some time. However, once you've updated it in https://account.microsoft.com/ it will eventually get synchronized with the apps your signed in with.

Thanks for pointing out to that profile pic of microsoft community is different from microsoft account.

However, i tried to signout and again sign in to find that there is no change in profile when windows bootup.

Are there any help which u suggest!

Unfortunately, there's no troubleshooting that will work on that.

I experience the same issue after changing my display picture, no matter what I do like sign out and sign back in, reinstall the app, reset.... none could help with it.

Just patiently wait for it and it will eventually reflect the updated profile picture on the app automatically.
