Network administrator

I am watching videos that are appropriate and Youtube restricts the video even though there is no inappropriate content. Also when I try to turn off "Restricted Mode" off, it says Restricted Mode is enabled by your network administrator. I tried searching how to turn off network admin but I still don't know.

Is this a personal computer or a computer within an organization?

If its within organization, you need to speak with your Network administrator since the company might certain policies you can view while on their network or company devices.

YouTube has approved content that is not considered socially acceptable and have been called out for it.

Hi Magma, if my colleagues' answers don't help, you can contact the Google support team, because YouTube now operates as one of Google's subsidiaries.

Hi Magma_Tronix,

Click your Start Button, type regedit and hit Enter to open the Registry Editor

In the left Pane, navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome

In the right hand pane, double click ForceSafeSearch

Set its data value to 0

Click OK and exit the Registry Editor

Restart your PC and check if you can then access YouTube videos . . .

Is it a shared computer? Are you the owner with full Administrator rights?

Try adding the Google Public DNS to your router then see if you can successfully browse the site:

Google: Add Public DNS to Your Home Router - groovyPost

See if you can then view the content on YouTube.
