Input Device not working, microphone not detected

The computer doesn't have a microphone included, and it doesn't detect an external microphone either, I've tried Settings>Sound>Input (no input devices found) I run the troubleshoot but it says it can't identify the problem

I've gone to device manager to try to update drivers but even there it does not have the audio input

Hi Paul, thanks for helping me out!

This is an ongoing issue, since I got the computer it has had this problem, my computer is a Dell Latitude E6410
