iCloud/Media Feature Pack/Windows 10

I have been trying to install iCloud in Windows 10.  I got the message "missing Media features.  Please install Media Features Pack from Microsoft."  After having done this, I get the same message from the iCloud install package.  I have been looking for an answer on the Microsoft website, the Apple website, blogs, etc.  I found one that suggested activating Windows Media features, but they don't appear in the possible features.  Has this been solved?

I tried to do bypass Media Feature Pack step by step but it did not help me. What you mean Finally run iCloud64.msi and reboot? You mean the iCloud64.msi file which a save to desctop (1.5)

When I run
iCloud64.msi this message appears to me:

I have installed all these programs:

- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x64 9.0.30729 (5 MB),

- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable x86 9.0.30729 (4.3 MB),

- Apple Application Support 5.1 x64 (46.6 MB),

- Apple Application Support 5.1 x86 (41.7 MB),

- Bonjour 3.1.0.1 x64 (2.6 MB),

but all these links do not work. Returns error 404.

Anyway, after that I can not install iCloud drive again. I still displays the original message:

I had this issue attempting to install iCloud 7.0.0 onto a machine running the current Preview build (1709). I worked around it by creating a key in the Registry to make the installer think the package is installed.

The key to create is Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\WindowsFeatures\WindowsMediaVersion.

Or you can run a registry script I've provided. This simply creates the key for you - there doesn't have to be any value in it, as long as the key exists iCloud will install.

Solution by Henk & Ingrid in the above mentioned article- "it turned out that I also manually removed Windows Media Player from Apps & Features at the 'optional feature' area"

This worked for me !! thank you :)
