How do I fix windows 10 error code 0x80040154

Hi All,

can anyone out there give me an answer on how to fix error code 0x80040154. I just upgraded my laptop to windows 10 pro and anytime I tried to open my mail, calendar, apps I do get that error code when signing in. Any solution to this?

1. Press “Windows” + “X” and select Control Panel.

2. Select Troubleshooting and select View all on left hand side of the screen.

3. Select the App and follow the instruction to troubleshoot.

Thanks! I did try your recommendations but still yet getting same result. It didn't work! Any other solutions to this problem? Furthermore, When I do try to open my store or people Apps it won't even respond...just don't open. I hope windows 10 won't be a flaw.

I finally figured it out! All I did was to RESET my PC from the Settings and everything started working Fine. Hope this help other folks out too!

select settings from start menu on windows 10 n you can type it in the search box at the top right hand side corner...

This option suggests it will remove all non-Microsoft software from you computer. Not a good thing if you just upgraded an older version of Windows.

There was nothing there related to the mail app.  Why am I not surprised?
