change user profile in windows 10

Microsoft help me with a problem.  The support had to set up an new account with test as its name.  Want to return user profile back to Rmelv.  So how does one change the user variable %USERPROFILE%, %ProgramFiles% variable?
Answer
Answer

While Kapil's suggestion to play with the environment variables will probably work, Andre's suggestion is the best. Sure it will take a few minutes to move your files to the new ID, in the long run it is the most bullet proof.

"Custom" registry entries is one of those things that can get "fixed" by MS during updates.
