Can't remove language pack after April 2018 Update

Hello! I can't remove English (United Kingdom) language pack: "remove" button is greyed out. I don't need this language pack (it is very inconvenient to switch between 3 languages instead of 2). How can I fix it? Thank you!

Hi Dmitry. I am a fellow community member who likes to help when I can. I believe this guide has the info you need to manually remove langauge packs

Press WIndows key + R
Type: LPKSETUP
Hit Enter

Click Uninstall display languages

Choose the language then click Next

Hi, Dmitry.

Go to Settings, Time and language, Region and language, first make sure which language you want to leave as the default, then click on the LANGUAGE you want to delete and click on Delete. The problem must be solved.

Keep in mind that to eliminate a language, it DOES NOT HAVE TO BE DEFAULT, possibly that is why you do not eliminate it.

Problem is none of the standard  ways to remove this 3rd en_GB language pack does not work in Windows 10 april update  (((
1) In language  menu remove options for en_GB is always greyed out
2) LPKSETUP  removes en_US even if it is as default system language, but not en_GB (which seems is  set as non removable pack)

I've managed to "solve" problem by setting US Keyboard layout to en_GB language pack, but it creates some strange behavior.

you can try using PowerShell.

You can view your language list with Get-WinUserLanguageList

$1 = New-WinUserLanguageList en-US
Set-WinUserLanguageList $1

now you can check again your new language list with Get-WinUserLanguageList Logoff, Reboot. After rebooting you can add another languages if needed.

Problem is that on my HP ProBook notebook I have two English Language Packs: en_US, en_GB, and I can't remove en_GB (it is some how set as non-removable pack).

There is no such problem on my home PC after upgrade to April 2018 update, so I decided it has something to do with HP.
