Cannot sync Microsoft account on domain joined PC

I have a computer that was on my local domain and was also syncing with my Microsoft account. I had to rebuild it from scratch with the latest insider preview ISO (14856 I think it was). After first boot, I rejoined the domain, added my Microsoft account and the sync settings are still grayed out and can not be turned on. I have added my MS account everywhere I can think of and still the sync settings are grayed out. How do I get this working again, like it was before I had to reload? The domain is just a simple domain here at my house, not Azure or anything like that and there are no policies preventing this.

The problem is that version 1703 is joined to a domain in that case, it doesn´t create a record when connected to a Microsoft Account in the HKEY_USERS \ .DEFAULT \ Software \ Microsoft \ IdentityCRL \ StoredIdentities registry key. I have solved it for now by importing the key from version 1607.
