This might be an issues with the corrupted/ missing system files. Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.
Method 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan and check if it helps.
System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. If a
Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.
Follow the below steps:
- Press CTRL+Shift+ESC, to open the
Task manager.
- Click File > Run New Task.
- Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
- Type CMD.
- Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
Enter.
- After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
Note: If you are not able to repair some files after performing SFC scan, I suggest you to refer to the point 3 “Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to
fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log”. Under the section “Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe)” to repair the corrupted files after performing SFC scan.

Method 2: If the issue still persists, I suggest you to
run DISM or System Update Readiness tool and check.
The DISM or System Update Readiness tool may help you to fix some Windows corruption errors.
