On-screen keyboard pop-up on Wacom Device

So I've been using my Wacom Mobile Studio for a while and recently bought a USB keyboard. Whenever I'm editing a text or touching a text box or anything like that, the on-screen keyboard pops up automatically. This is extremely annoying, even more when I'm editing technical drawings or complex objects. Is there any way to disable the keyboard when the physical one is turned on and connected to my device?

Thank you

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I'll keep working with you until this is resolved.

First and foremost, thank you Greg for replying and trying to solve the problem so promptly.

Unfortunately I followed all of the options in the link you've shared, and none of them work. The OSK these refer to, is another different and more complete version OSK than the one that pops up. All of the options that enable this to happen are ticked off.

The OSK is really useful when I use my device as a tablet, but well, now it's giving me quite the headache.

I didn't solve the problem, because I'm still unable to find something that disables it automatically, but messing around I noticed that an osk task was running on the background. I'm still not sure if it really disables it, but after ending the task it stopped popping up. Afterwards, if I want to use it again I just press on the keyboard logo on the Taskbar.

If any problems arise with this I will reply through this thread.

Did you see the FAQ entitled "This setting is not selected, but a keyboard still appears when I start Windows. Why is this happening?"

I'd set a System Restore point and edit the registry key given, just to know everything was tried. http://home.bt.com/tech-gadgets/computing/how-t...

Check under Start > Settings > Devices > Typing > scroll down to the bottom, is 'Show the touch keyboard when not in tablet mode and there's no keyboard attached?

Here is another way you can disable it.

Open Start, type: CMD
Right click CMD
Click Run as Administrator

At the command prompt, type the following command then hit Enter:

sc config "TabletInputService" start= disabled
sc stop "TabletInputService"

When you want to enable it, go to the command prompt then enter the following commands.

sc config "TabletInputService" start= auto
sc start "TabletInputService"
