Critical Process Died, how do I fix this?

Whenever I close my laptop lid, or put my laptop to sleep, and I wake it back up it displays a black screen for a minute, then says CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED. This started happening after I had to restore my laptop, and I restored it a couple times after thinking that it would solve the problem, but it didn't. I have a Toshiba Satellite L55-B5267 running Windows 10. How do I fix this?

Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I will be glad to assist you with the issue you are experiencing with the computer. I understand the difficulty when things won’t work the way they should.

A blue screen error (also called a stop error) can occur if a problem causes your PC to shut down or restart unexpectedly. When you experience this type of error, you won’t be able to see things like the Start menu or the taskbar on the screen when your PC is turned on. Instead you might see a blue screen with a message that your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart.

I suggest you to refer the below link and check if it helps regarding solving the Blue Screen errors in Windows.

Hope this information helps.
