Access Denied when ending a not responding program even as Admin

When a program just doesn't responds, I go into the Details tab of Task manager and tried to end a process, but I get the error that Access is denied even as I'm on administrator. I try to look for other solutions but come back UNSOLVED. I don't want to restart the WHOLE thing thus loosing my data

Help???

Sorry to know that you are facing this issue.

I suggest you to go the below file path and check. 

C:\windows\System32 and right click on taskmgr.exe and run as admin mode and check.

 

If you are still facing the issue, follow the below steps.

Method 1:

Run process explorer and then try terminating the process and check. Refer the below article for further reference. 

Method 2:

I suggest you to perform a clean boot and check.

Note:

Reset the computer back to Normal Mode once you are done with the troubleshooting by following the section "How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting" from the same article.

Method 3:

Perform System security scanner.
